Newport Rotarians turned out in good numbers for the Newport Pig Cooking this weekend. Over the years, the event has provided more than $700,000 for Newport area charities and non-profits serving the community. Newport Rotary has been involved since the beginning! Rotarians Larry Howard and PDG Derryl Garner were initial organizers of the event. Rotarians and guests present were: Pres. Maher Saikali, Pres-Elect Anita Moreau, Bevin Wall, Pam Wall, Matt Shortway, Steve Blizzard, Winston Reese, Joe Garner, and club guest, Shelli Overby.
