Newport Rotarians Show Up in Force for Foundation Banquet

We arrive in style at the River Landing County Club, Wallace NC!

Twelve Newport Rotarians and guests participated in the District Rotary Foundation Banquet in Wallace NC on Thursday evening, October 27. The featured speaker was Rotary Foundation Trustee and Director Elect Ann Matthews of Columbia SC. She spoke on how the Rotary Foundation is alleviating needs like hunger, clean water, and literacy, and is giving Rotarians the opportunity to participate in making the world a better place. We are also "this close" to eradicating Polio!  

A group of Newport Rotarians rode up in a van for the event.
