Law Student Describes Hectic College Life & Career Choice

Maher Saikali and daughter,
Julia Sakaili, a "2L" at
Campbell Law School
Julia Saikali, a second year law student at The Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University was the guest speaker at Newport Rotary on Monday, March 3, 2014. Julia gave a description of her college life, including why she changed to law school instead of a pharmacy degree. She has a little more than a year to go in law school at Campbell University in Raleigh.

She attributes her decision to pursue a law career to her mentor, Newport Rotary's resident attorney, Bevin Wall, and gave a glowing description of her time working in his office. “I would look at the clock and it was lunch time. Back to work, and the next time I looked it was 5:00." It was exciting and fast paced! Julia is the daughter of Newport Rotary Past President Maher Saikali.
