As the Rotary year draws to a conclusion for 2017-18, Newport Rotary celebrates in biggest Rotary Foundation project yet. On June 1, 2018, Newport Rotarians shared a meal and fellowship with men's and women's shelter staff and beneficiaries at
Hope Mission, our county's homeless shelter. We dedicated a new commercial freezer for the soup kitchen and new cots and bedding for the men's shelter. Newport Rotary raised the funds, private donations, and obtained a matching grant from the
Rotary Foundation to complete funding. The project impact exceeds $5,500. The project coordinators are Bevin Wall, Pam Wall, Julia Saikali and Rick Moreau.
