The Harvest ConnectionRev. James Gurganus, Coordinator at the Faith Training Center in Kinston, came and told us about their Disaster Relief Ministry. The purpose of the Ministry is to provide needed skills of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, cleaning, and repairs to those who have experienced disaster. They also collect and deliver Emergency Recovery Kits, such as a Bedding Kit, Infant Kit, Health/Hygene Kit and various other speciality kits.
They deliver compassion through a sharing of their Christian experience and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is an opportunity for all members to present their Church in Action.
